The design process began with the vision of creating a kitchen that would serve as the architectural heart of the home—an inviting space where cooking, entertaining, and everyday life naturally come together. At its centre stands a bespoke sculptural island, featuring a beautifully fluted curved base and a striking marble-inspired stone surface that creates both visual impact and functional workspace.
The surrounding cabinetry was intentionally designed with clean, uninterrupted lines and a soft neutral palette, allowing the natural materials to take centre stage. Large-format stone surfaces flow continuously across the worktops and splashbacks, creating a sense of cohesion while highlighting the beauty of the dramatic veining. Warm oak detailing introduces depth and warmth, balancing the contemporary character of the stone and cabinetry.
The cooking area was framed as an architectural feature, creating a focal point within the kitchen while housing professional-grade appliances. Integrated lighting throughout the open shelving and display areas adds warmth and atmosphere, transforming everyday storage into elegant design features.
Behind the main kitchen lies a generously sized scullery that significantly enhances the functionality of the home. Designed to accommodate food preparation, cleaning, storage, and entertaining support, the scullery allows the main kitchen to remain beautifully organised while providing ample working space for busy family life and larger gatherings.
